How to Find Inspiration and Use It

Hey there! Inspiration is so elusive right? I wanted to share a bit about how I find inspiration and then how I use it in my work. You’ve got to steal like an artist and I love this book by the same name! It’s so important to listen to your heart, slow down, be observant and then take notes on what you love and why.

This will help you find your (ever-evolving-until-the-day-you-die) style. :) Hahah, too much? But it’s true, I spent a lot of time trying to pick a style and once I put the things I loved together, that is my style. And it absolutely changes over time, embrace the journey!

Here is the course that will help you with character design and drawing characters with more variety! Check it out here on Skillshare and get a free trial at the same time. I absolutely love Skillshare and I am learning how to use Procreate, get digitally organized and more!

Enjoy!

Erika
