This is my attempt for the theme of Resolutions for Illustration Friday and it is also an entry for 52 Designs.* What are your resolutions this year? Do you even make them? I usually don't.
This painting is a representation of my resolution to take chances with painting and grow more than ever this year. Be at my most vulnerable and fly. Try to stop nitpicking for pieces to be perfect before sharing them. For me I'm noticing the more I mess with watercolor, the closer I get to ruining the whole thing. I'm also starting to see that accidents turn out to be my favorite part when it's all said and done. My friend Sebom was here visiting and she surprised me with two huge boxes of watercolors that I can't wait to dive into even more.
This is my 52nd piece of design for the year, one piece a week! Wooo hoooooo! I'm also going to be updating my sad little etsy shop with watercolor prints and digital prints as well so it won't be sad anymore. Anything you would like to see in the store? Let me know.
