Portrait

My parents have an impression of my hand as a little girl in a circular slab in their kitchen. My hand was so small, I was probably three or four five. That was my inspiration for this drawing. One day I'll have gray hair when I look at my little handprint. Sometimes I wish I was that smaller version of me again.

I love that I'm 28 and that memento lives in their kitchen. A small piece of me that never left home.
