There was a little fashion event tonight called "The Fashion Project". Tonight was free and it was a little introductory about what to expect and a chance to meet the designers competing. Twelve designers compete every Wednesday for four weeks in fashion challenges. There is a winner but no one gets eliminated. All proceeds go to Dress for Success, a non-profit organization that helps women who were on drugs, homeless, etc get back on their feet. They provide business attire and equip them with the tools they need to get a job and have a better future.
It was great and there was a surprise challenge where the designers had to create in five minutes with just one piece of fabric and a little box of goodies. Phenomenal. Now I'm itching to see more. Good work Brandi.
On another note, I'm going to go away for a little bit. Not sure how long but I keep getting sidetracked with shooting and sharing. Shouldn't be too long of a hiatus.
