I temporarily made amends with my in camera flash for Edith's birthday dinner. The pictures came out pretty great once I got the hang of it.

Now I'm really itching for an external flash.

Dinner was okay but the company was even better. It was a surprise party and we got her good! I had the waitress take her to another seating area to throw her off. She noticed her mom first and couldn't believe we were all there. Edith was all smiles and I'm glad she had fun, she deserves it. She's a tough cookie in more ways than one. I ordered a Swirl which was a frozen margarita with frozen sangria swirled through it. Mmmm, it was fantastic.

After we chowed down, some of the ladies wanted to go dancing so we went to La Rumba an hour before closing. I danced to a few songs and then we were out. Got home at 2:30 a.m and didn't wake up til noon.

I hope Edith had a happy birthday because if she didn't I had enough fun for the both of us.
